Songs: A Box (AGF CD 2)

Joe Saville, the only member of Moisture Farm, recorded, mixed, and mastered “A Box” with the help of engineer Bryan Daste at the Magic Closet in Portland Oregon.  The track was recorded on a Larrivee' acoustic guitar in open C6 tuning.  Minimal percussion programming was used via Pro Tools plug-ins that Joe created himself.

The song reflects the thought process and emotions a person goes through after a breakup with their first true love.  Joe has always enjoyed the 'harp-like' tones an open tuning creates and on “A Box” this technique greatly accents the vocal movement and song melody.  All of Moisture Farm's music is inspired from life experiences that encompass both love and loss, pain and triumph, and everything in between.
